Fosters Needed for the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center in North Carolina

Thank you for your interest in becoming a foster caregiver for our Behavioral Rehabilitation Center (BRC) in Weaverville, North Carolina! The BRC is dedicated to the study and behavioral rehabilitation of extremely fearful, undersocialized dogs. Many of these dogs rely on the additional support of foster caregivers to help them through their journeys toward loving homes and these foster caregivers are crucial to the success of our program.

Why We Need Foster Caregivers!

When dogs graduate our program, we want to move them to be able to move out of the BRC and into a home as soon as possible. Graduate foster caregivers provide a temporary home while we determine next steps for that particular pup. This also allows us to bring in new fearful dogs into the BRC for treatment.

If you’re able, you can also serve as an Adoption Ambassador, which involves both fostering a graduate and helping us find a loving family! We provide all supplies and support and can answer any questions on fostering a graduate or on other types of fostering once you’ve completed your application.
